Jade Estabillo upscales a Hemingway Daiquiri right here
This is Jade Estabillo’s take on a Hemingway Daiquiri. Traditionally it’s made with light rum, but this version has white tequila thanks to the grassy notes. This is a great cocktail to drink before dinner, as it opens up and refreshes your palate.
- 1/2oz Maraschino Liqueur
- 2oz Blanca Tequila
- 1/2oz grapefruit juice
- 1/2oz lime juice
- dash of agave
Start with your liqueur, add tequila, grapefruit juice, lime juice, a dash of agave and ice. Shake for about 30 seconds and single strain into a coup or a martini glass.
Finally, create a grapefruit twist for the garnish. Zest it over the glass and give that lip a wipe with the skin.
